Ronald T. Takaki dies at 70; pioneer in the field of ethnic studies – Los Angeles Times.

On Sunday, Dr. George Tiller was murdered by a gunman in Wichita. Dr. Tiller was known for being one of the few doctors in the country who would perform late-term abortions.
